When I talk with people about a sale ready company, they often have no interest in the conversation. Too often, when you hear the word sale ready, you think I'm talking about getting ready to sell your company. That couldn't be further from the truth.

In this video, I'm gonna introduce my new book and why having your company sale ready is crucial to your success. And I can promise you that you want your company to be sale ready, even if you think it's not all that important. And most of the time, you don't think it's all that important.

So in order for you to get to sale ready, you first have to know what you need to get there.

So here's the problem with that. You may have talked with an advisor or even several advisors about the day you leave your business. Those advisors gave you a lot of information and it went in one ear and right out the other.

You probably walked away from that conversation frustrated and not understanding what the first step is you need to take. It's really not fair that learning about transferring your business seems to be so complicated, and I would like to see it simplified. I always want things simplified.

So that's why I wrote my newest book, "The Sale Ready Company," what it takes to create a business that someone else would wanna own, even if you have no interest in selling.

In this book, we take a look at transferring the business to the next generation through a story following our friends, the Aardvark family. We take you through the eight simple steps it takes to get your company to be sale ready. You'll learn in plain language how easy it is to get your company to a place where someone else would wanna own it, even if you have no interest in selling.

Now, we do know how hard you have to work to get your company to sale ready, that's why we say that it's simple but not easy to do the work. It's why taking a few hours to read this book will demystify the entire process of getting your company ready for transfer. And when you get your company ready for transfer, it becomes way more valuable today both economically and personally.

I know how important it is to have a sale ready company. After you read my new book, you'll know it too.

You can buy the book today in the Kindle format at Amazon, all you have to do is go to Amazon, type in the name of the book, "The Sale Ready Company," and my name, Josh Patrick, and you'll get a chance to get a great deal on the book.

So here's the steps you need to take.

  1. Number one, go to Amazon, buy the book, pretty simple.

  2. Number two, read the book and learn about what a sale ready company is and why it's important to you. The why it's important to you is really the important part. I don't really care if you know what a sale ready company is, but I do want you to know the eight steps and why it's important.

  3. And number three, set a time for us to talk so we can help you learn about the specifics of what you're thinking about for your company. And we'll find out what problem you might be trying to solve when you create a sale ready company, and the problem you're trying to solve might be a surprise for you.

So remember go to Amazon and buy the book. I would love to have a conversation with you about this, so feel free contacting me at jpatrick@stage2planning.com after reading the book to set up a time to talk.

In the meantime, if you're not ready to talk, download our free e-book that explains the 8 steps for our sale ready company. And while you're at it, scroll down and let me know what you think about transferring your business in the way you want.
